Erik Zabel's style of riding harkens back to the Golden Era of racing. He races from early spring in Spain right through to the World Championships in October. In true iron man fashion, he has also rode in numerous winter six-day races.  Zabel has won the Tour de France points competition (green jersey) a record six times, Milan-San Remo four times, and has a plethora of other victories in one days races as well as individual stages in several renowned stage races. He is one of the most accomplished riders in the peleton and is consistently ranked in the top echelon of the UCI world rankings.
